Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. When you visit the website, information (server log files) is automatically collected that your browser transmits. Vercel processes this data on our behalf in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

This includes in particular:

• IP address
• Browser type and version
• Operating system
• Referring website (referrer URL)
• Date and time of access
• Pages visited

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable provision of the website.

Vercel is based in the USA. Where personal data is transferred to the USA, this is based on appropriate safeguards under Art. 44 et seq. GDPR (e.g. EU standard contractual clauses or certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).

Cookies, analytics and tracking

This website does not set any cookies and does not use any analytics or tracking tools. No third-party scripts are loaded.

Fonts

The font used on this website is served from our own server. No connection to third-party servers (such as Google Fonts) is made.

“Free website check” form

When you request a website check using the form on our homepage, we process the following details:

• the address of the website you would like us to look at
• what you selected as most important to you
• your name (optional)
• your email address

We use these details solely to handle your request and reply to you by email. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries).

Your details are received by our server at Vercel (see “Hosting”) and delivered as an email to our mailbox hello@pinkylabs.de via the email delivery service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA). Resend processes the data on our behalf in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. The safeguards described under “Hosting” apply accordingly to any transfer to the USA.

Our email mailbox is operated via Google Workspace; incoming emails are stored there.

To protect against abuse (such as large numbers of automated requests), we limit the number of requests per connection. For this, our server briefly keeps a hash of your IP address in memory. It is not stored permanently, not linked to your request and not passed on to us. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

We delete your request once it has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply (for example if the request leads to an order).

Contact by email

If you contact us by email, your details including the contact information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry and for possible follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Booking a call via Calendly

To book a call, we link to the scheduling service Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA). No Calendly content is embedded on our website; no data is sent to Calendly unless you click the link. When you open the link, you are taken to Calendly's website. There, Calendly processes the details you enter when booking (e.g. name, email address, chosen time and any message) as well as technical data about your visit.

We receive the booking details in order to prepare and hold the call. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Right of access: You have the right to obtain information about your personal data stored by us.
• Right to rectification: You have the right to have inaccurate data corrected.
• Right to erasure: You have the right to request deletion of your data, provided there are no legal retention obligations.
• Right to restriction: You have the right to request restriction of the processing of your data.
• Right to data portability: You have the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
• Right to object: You have the right to object to the processing of your data.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority regarding the processing of your personal data.

Data retention

We only store your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law. After that, the data is deleted or anonymised.

Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy to adapt it to changed legal situations or changes to the service and data processing. The current version is always available on this page.
